๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ–๏ธGoodbye Summer, Hello Changes ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŒ’

Hello Sensi-Seeker

Stepping Into a New Phase

Change can be Hard

Nearing the end of summer, many of us go through a big change. Whether you are beginning school or your kids are.

Sometimes, the change of weather can affect us too. From our energy levels to mood, etc.

Or, you maybe you happen to being going through a different kind of transition this time of year.

Life is by nature, always changing, and some of us more sensitive-types don't handle it as easily. I know I don't- haha! However, over the years I have learned ways to cope with it easier.

Here are some quick tips that can help you through your current transitions:

3 Ways to Transition Smoothly

  1. Keep healthy and comfortable habits alive. For instance, keep going to that weekly workout class. Or, having your morning meditation. This will help keep your nervous system calm amid changes- giving it a safe space.
  2. Release fears surrounding the change/transition. EFT is a great way to help let go of fears. Or, talk through them with a therapist, trusted friend, etc. Allow them to challenge your possible irrational thoughts.
  3. Focus on what excites you about the change. Look at all the positives and fun you may have during this time. For instance, maybe your not thrilled about the change of weather BUT you do love the seasonal activities (Thanksgiving, Halloween, apple picking, etc.). If you are an empty nester maybe now you can look forward to more freedom, a cleaner house and newfound peace.

Why a Vision first? I know many people roll their eyes at the idea of creating a vision board, but it CAN be a powerful catalyst to move you forward toward your goals in a meaningful, clear and effective way. 3 Steps To Create It Although some may be asking, "Isn't it as simple as just slapping photos on a bristol/poster board?" Well, yes and no. I personally suggest to be more intentional in your process, which will result in a more effective outcome. Here are the 3 easy steps to get you...

A Call for Peace Often the holidays can create a lot of angst if there are tensions within a family, and for this family it was no different. It had been days since they had spoken to one another, but in their hearts, they knew this issue between them needed to be resolved. They were the few people left in their family who remained physically and emotionally available, and if they continued down the path of no-contact, they would be alone. Although I had not seen in them in a long time, they...

Hello Sensi-Seeker Yes, Please! Gratitude's Hidden Power You may have heard that gratitude is beneficial for keeping a positive outlook on life. By focusing on things you are grateful for, you automatically feel better about where you are at. Things become a little bit (or a lot) more rosier. What you may not have thought of, is that you can take it a step further and start manifesting even better things into your life. After practicing gratitude, with some awareness, you can create clear...
